Hi, I'm having a very annoying problem that has never come to me in my 2 hours of playing Halo PC.

EVERYTIME I play the game online, no matter what the server, I get the little box in the lower right corner and then 5 seconds later, it says Network Connection Lost, and then my wireless card stops working, and I have to restart my whole PC for it to start working again.

I am using a LAN connection and my wireless card is picking up the internet from the router in my other, old computer, which is connected to a Yahoo DSL. I am using a TRENDnet wireless adapter on my USB 2.0. I have a Netgear router.

This started happening about a week ago, ever since I performed a system restore on my computer in an attempt to remove some bad malware preventing me from accessing from crucial internet sites. The virus is gone, and everything is fine, except for Halo.

I untinstalled and reinstalled Halo twice, but that didn't work. I also completely shut down my DSL and router. and rebooted it, but that also didn't work. I really have no idea what to do, and I don't want to lose this terrific game. This problem ONLY occurs while playing Halo PC, not any other online game.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
