Halo PC (calling all HPC players)

I really want to play Halo pc. And I was just thinking about just buying the real game instead of trying to crack it.
I wanna relive all my h1 memories but it's hard to do that with xbc on xbox. Not enough players and too laggy.

So please If anyone could help me out answering these questions!

1. I hate playing with keyboard and mouse. I wanna use my wireless 360 controller with the play and charge kit. I downloaded the driver for that and I heard you can use it when it's connected via usb. Can you use it to play h1pc?

2. Is xfire the best (whatever) to play on?

3. I wanna play with the halopc players that are on hb. Once I buy the game do I have to do anything special interms of downloading any kind of updates or maps? Do you guys play only against cracked servers and players or are most of you guys legit?

4. How bad is it in terms of leading your shots online? Or does it just depend on the host?

Please help!

3. That would be 3 persons. Me, DuxXa and Brooney. I ban cheaters and only play in non-cracked servers. And yes, you have to update the game before you can play. In the Halo folder ( :C/program files/microsoft/Halo) there will be a file called "haloupdate".

4. Depends on the host/server. The closer it's by you, the better ping you get.

By the way you can use your 360 controller for H1PC. I suggest asking Muffin for help.

I play too, and how do I use my 360 controller

I have no idea about the controller, you might want to google it. Otherwise PM LinE (or something) on H3F, he plays with a controller on Halo 1 PC.
