Camtasia..

Hey everyone,
I usually recorded my gameplay with Gamecam but i found and registered Camtasia, which should be better according to my brother. But the problem now is that the recordings are very laggy/choppy, it has 5 fps and even if i change it to record 400 fps it still remains bad. Does anyone know what settings to use? ( Even the default settings are laggy!)
Please help me!

defult settings works fine for me but i only use that program for tutorials.
