Umm, you are completely wrong about the controller thing. The controller would be at a huge disadvantage because Halo PC has no auto-aim like in the xbox versions. Mice and keyboards are superior to the controller due to the fact of the perciseness of the mouse compared to the joystick on a controller. The only reason you think you can own with a controller is because of the auto-aim in the xbox versions.

And to answer your question: Yes, you can plug your Xbox 360 wired controller into your PC to use it in PC games but I highly advise that you DO NOT use it. Believe me I tried and it only makes it harder to aim, not easier.

i use the 360 controller made for windows. i love it. i think it's even helping me improve my halo2 fighting abilities as well. must be the no auto aim. i'm raping the hell out of the banshees as well. i'm on the trial for now until i find my cd case to the full game version because i need the key code to install it.
