I made this montage for halo pc just as a bit of relaxation after being inspired by a load of halo movies and the 300 trailer music – admittedly its probably not all that great compared to some of the stuff you lot make.
My first halo montage got ripped apart (especially by Master Kim :P) but there was loads of advice in all that, which I think ive taken onboard, I think since then ive improved in editing and gameplay so yeah this should be better than my last one.
Unfortunately I haven’t got a clue how to use Sony Vegas, and this is exam period so I didn’t exactly have the time to learn it, and yeah I feel the montage is a little rushed but ive kept all the original footage and will probably have another go at it in the holiday.

So yeah advice on what was good, what was bad etc will be great!

Killing some1 out of turret of a hog which doesnt drive isnt really good.. same for no-shields. sticks were alright I guess...

yep MuFf1n i agree infact i planned on taking out the no shields double kill just because it isnt actually anything special, ill do the same with the turret!
unfortunatly i shoved those in there because i ran out of hard disk space and because of exams just cant play much anyway till the holiday, but yeah there are definatly clips that should be taken out.

and yeah my internet connection isnt great, but whenever i play on friends servers my lag is about 80 something like that, which isnt bad, but all the footage in this video was taken on random servers so my ping on some of the clips is pretty high.

Take your time for a montage... delete no-shields, play on your own country's servers (like UK players have amazing pings at UK servers).

yeah its true, theres definaty footage thats getting cut and to be honest i am planning on redoing it whenever i get the hard disk space, i guess im sort of treating this as a preliminary version so i know whats good and whats bad about it

i like it but muffins is still my favorite pc tage
