hey guys, I just got halo 1 for xbox after playing HPC for a long time, and I love it, at least playing my brother in 1 on 1
Now, I have wired ethernet, with one internet jack in my wall. I can't have internet on both my comp and xbox at the same time, which is apparently what I need to XBC
I think I need an ethernet hub, but honestly I know virtually nothing about this stuff
can anybody tell me what to get and maybe a good place to get it? Thx
edit- I forgot to mention I have a 360 and downloaded HCE over xbox live (xbox originals). Will that lead to any problems?

I think you need a router.

Ok, You are gonna need a router.
Here's a link for a wired router. I perfer DLink.
D-Link - 4-Port Ethernet Broadband Router - EBR-2310

If you have anything wireless or plan on using wireless then get a wireless router. You don't have to use it's wireless features just because it's wireless. You can use it just like an original wired router.

If you are thinking, "wow these routers are way too expensive." Don't worry, ignore them online prices. Just go to your local best buy or circuit city and you should find something affordable.
