Today is a sad - yet in a way happy - day for me as I just received the RROD error on my Xbox.

It's sad because I have to wait 3 - 4 weeks to play Halo again, yet it's nice because I bought my Xbox 360 the day it came out so in about 3 or 4 more months if this happened I would just be out the Xbox 360 as the warranty only lasts for 3 years.

Has anyone else gotten an RROD? How long did it take to get repairs?

My neighbor got it twice. The first time, about 6 months ago, it took 5 weeks for him to get it back. More recently, about a month ago, it only took 2 weeks.
I've got a feeling im going to be getting the rrod soon, and if not the rrod, it will probably just break. My disc drives been pretty ****ty.

That sucks THG, ive never had the RRoD, but i know a LOT of my friends that have gotten them.

Reply: I already did! It's great! It's keeping my shelf that houses my 360 level! Also, I can use it to keep my door from shutting on it's own, or even stack it on top of my desk to keep all my papers from flying away. i tell you, the PSTripplesz is great for things like that! Lol...PS3...am I rite people? I would rather have Christopher Walken stab me in the face with a soldering iron then play that piece of junk.
