i heard its only so many of the crackdown discs have the beta on them, ah well to be safe ive put mine on order today

I'm not sure, because look at some of the montages on H3F! They were being waited on and hyped a lot, and many didn't live up to the hype. I really don't want that to happen to H3.

SICK! I can't wait to see it... I will hopefully buy crackdown (Whats crackdown? I never saw anything about the actual gamre crackdown) and play the beta... Good ways for bungie to hype up Halo 3

Well, from the looks of things. You're able to try the other two ways first. And if you still don't get in, you can just make sure you buy a specially marked Crackdown.
