Just read the blog, and decided to post here because I can't remember if I have an account on thehalogod.com
I never played the Beta, so I can't really answer the questions at the end of the blog. From what I have seen I don't like it, but seeing and playing are 2 different things.
yours,

High Ground became kinda old after a few games. The best map was Snowbound. Vahalla reminded me of Coagulation (Blood Gulch for you H1 ppl). All in all i was impressed by the beta. The reason people didnt find it as much fun as they'd hoped it would've been was the lack of maps.

I liked the Beta when I played it, but I never got to play too much because I had to play at a friends house. High Ground was my favorite map, but I had alot of fun on Snowbound. We got oddball, and I was like, ok lets see how nubby the other team is. I grabbed the ball and ran as far as I could outside the barrier jumping to get far. I went back to where the oddball spawns, and watched 3 of the other teams players run after it and get killed by the turrets. I was laughing so hard.
To be completely honest, I didn't really like the 3 maps that much. High Ground was easily the best because of the architecture. The emblems suck balls, they should have left the old and added more. thats my take.

I had a blast playing that game. Playing has convinced me never to play H2 again. I tried going back to H2 yesterday and it dissappointed me thoroughly. I cannot wait for Sept. 25th. In conclusion,
Halo1= Hardcore
Halo2= Weekend Warrior (Fun player)
Halo3= A Perfect mix of both
